Bethpage

Though it is technically in Farmingdale, the Bethpage State Park brings the town on the radar of every golf lover. Scene of the 2002 Open, the Championship will return in 2009. This expanse of green is a tough challenge for even the likes of Tiger Woods, but it is a zone of natural refreshment and open air for ordinary people who are fortunate to chance upon it. The course and the Park may be seen as symbols of Bethpage's devotion to excellence. The town provides near ideal conditions for living for people of all ages.

The Bethpage model of modern community living starts with education. New York State acknowledges the superior performance of Bethpage Schools. The District's leadership extends to sports and other extra-curricular activities apart from academics. Three Elementary Schools accompany a High School and a Middle School named after John F.
