The Village of Patchogue, with a population of 11,500, is located on the Great South Bay, app. 50 miles from Manhattan and app. 60 miles from Montauk Point. The general border lines of Patchogue Village are Blue Point on the West, Roe Blvd on the North, Bay Avenue on the East and the Great South Bay on the South.

Patchogue Village has a very extensive recreation program that includes a municipal pool,athletic fields, tennis courts and a large park on our shore front that is available to people of all ages. Boys and girls participate in the baseball, basketball and volleyball leagues as well as summer fun programs and swimming lessons. There are also provide adult leagues in softball and volleyball. Our senior programs are outstanding, with craft programs and trips to NYC available to all seniors.

Housing here is made up of mostly single family houses and apartment complexes. Rent is typical of the area and most homes can be sold or purchased for a modest $300,000.
