Flushing
 

As one of the original four areas in Queens, Flushingspanned the entire northeastern part of county. Flushing is made up of a few different areas which include Murray Hill, Queensboro Hill, and Linden Hill. Flushing is filled with many parks, stadiums, retail stores, and restaurants. Almost all of the commerce and large residential buildings can be found Downtown near Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Flushing is home to Shea Stadium, where you can see the New York Mets, and Flushing-Meadows Corona Park. Flushing-Meadows Corona Parkhouses the New York tennis center which is the location of the U.S. Open tennis tournament. Flushing is a easy 30 minutes commute to Manhattan, and an area with many things to do, which makes it an ideal place for families to reside.

Flushing is mainly made up of residential houses and apartment buildings. General rents in this area for studio ranges from $700-$1000, one bedroom from $950-$1200, two bedrooms from $1200-$1650, and 3+ bedrooms range from $1800-$2500.

In Flushing you can get the New York City subway's7 train. Once you are at the station you can be in Midtown in 20 minutes and Downtown in 30 minutes.
